Your Role:

  • Management and development of all quality control teams (more than 80 employees worldwide)
  • Ensure product availability and quality in collaboration with the manufacturing teams and quality assurance (QA) for all our products including medical devices, in vitro diagnostic products (IVD), research reagents, consumables and instruments
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (GMP, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015) in collaboration with the quality assurance (QA) and regulatory affairs teams
  • Ensure development and implementation of appropriate quality control tests of raw materials, semi-finished goods and final products in collaboration with the research and development teams, the manufacturing teams and quality assurance (QA)
  • Ensure highest possible standardization of QC processes at all sites and continuously improve quality control processes to achieve higher efficiency

Your Profile:

  • You have a PhD in chemistry, biology or pharmacy or a M.D.
  • You have several years of industry experience in leading a mid-size or large quality control team and profound experience with medical devices and/or cell and gene therapy medicinal products
  • You bring along profound experience in biological sciences and in analytical assay development including cell-based assays
  • You have solid knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015
  • You are committed to solutions and results and bring a proven ability to manage projects to milestones within timeline, quality requirements and budget
  • You bring along exceptional leadership skills, excellent communication skills, distinctive analytical capabilities and a broad technical skill set
