Technical Sales Consultant
Responsibilites:
Responsible for implementing the sales action plan and managing the sales effort to maximize the sales and profitability of Miltenyi Biotec B.V. & Co. KG. Responsible for achieving sales targets of the assigned territories or application products through effective management of sales tools and strategy
- Generating research sales leads and managing with distribution channel
- Meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals
- Negotiating contracts with prospective clients in assigned territory or product lines
- Helping distributor partners to determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
- Preparing and sharing to sales sup. by weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients and channel partners
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs to research customers and distribution channel partners
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products
- Maintaining client records and sharing to sales team
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
- Other tasks assigned by the company
Requirements:
- 8+ years working experience within life science (Immunology preferable) industry, and/or has the medical (Hospital/Clinical) or relevant industry working experience with outstanding performance; Hands on experience within a lab environment preferred
- At least bachelor's degree or above, major in biology-related or medical-related discipline; MS preferred
- Distributor management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills across functional departments
- Integrity and honest, self-motivated and capable of stress management
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, evidence of insurance/ insurability
