Program Manager – Contract Development and Manufacturing Services (m|f|d)

Your Role

  • You lead the program management for extensive customer projects for our contract development and manufacturing services and develop project plans for clinical and commercial manufacturing projects tailored to the phases from project acquisition to project implantation and execution.
  • You establish a holistic, cross-departmental and cross-location multi-project management. This includes the development and communication of  project scope, deliverables and timelines assumptions in close collaboration with the subject matter experts and project teams in Germany and the US.
  • Using your strong scientific and technical background you support the business development department in the acquisition of new customers and projects as well as alliance management. You will manage and monitor both client expectations as well as performance of project execution up to project completion.
  • In close cooperation with diverse departments (Operations, Process Development, R&D, Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs) you monitor and maintain project metrics relative to budget, schedule, resource allocations, issues, risks, and scope change.
  • For our clients you serve as the primary contact from project initiation to project completion.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed your academic studies in biology, biotechnology or a similar area and are familiar with working under GMP conditions.
  • You have a strong background in program or project management in biotechnology or pharma industry with a focus on therapeutic product development and the approval of clinical products. Prior experience in a contract development and manufacturing environment would be of benefit.
  • Hands-on experience in cellular therapy, genetic engineering, immunology or oncology are a plus.
  • Stakeholder management and the identification of Key Opinion Leaders are part of your daily work.
  • You have got excellent communication skills, can motivate yourself and others, act as a team player and are focused on outcome and joint successes.
