Software Project Manager - Embedded Clinical Devices for Cell- and Gene Therapy (m/w/d)

Your role:

  • As Software Project Manager in the Software Engineering department, you are responsible for managing the software teams and projects for our clinical instruments, which contribute to our mission: to make cancer history. 
  • You manage 1 to 3 agile development teams, organize and coordinate Scrum events, facilitate efficient development process and collaboration across the departments. 
  • Your operational responsibility starts by creating a supportive and dynamic culture, protecting the developers from outside interruptions and distractions while ensuring an efficient and transparent development process. 
  • In close cooperation with instrument project managers, other Scrum Masters and Product Owners you enable the reusability of software components and ensure a clear communication between the project team.  
  • You are improving existing agile development processes and shape the IT landscape for our embedded systems. 

Your profile:

  • Several years of hands-on software engineering experience including architecture design, requirements engineering, change and configuration management. 
  • Project management experience as Scrum Master, Project Lead, Software Project Manager, Team Lead or Software Architect. 
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile concepts and Scrum practice.
  • Confident knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD practices.
  • Desirably you have experience in reporting tools such as JIRA or Confluence and product management software like Siemens Polarion ALM/PLM or similar.
  • Your excellent organizational skill and strong communication skills in English and German round-up your profile.
