Your role:

  • Establishment of several xenograft models with different stroma thicknesses
  • Investigation of various pharmacological pretreatment schemes that can thin the tumor stroma
  • Development of CAR constructs and functional CAR T cells for the identified target structures and in vivo testing in combination with the best pharmacological pretreatment scheme
  • Transfer pharmacologically derived information into a biological manipulation of CAR T cells
  • Active expansion of scientific cooperation in immunotherapy, at least one first-author publication is expected

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed your Master's Degree/Diploma in Immunology, Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine, or Biochemistry
  • You have solid experience in the field of immunology, ideally with T cells
  • You are skilled in flow cytometry, IHC and cell culture
  • You have experience with in vivo mouse experiments, ideally with tumor models (FELASA B is desirable, but can also be organized by Miltenyi at an academic partner)
  • Good English language skills and the ability to work within a multinational team complete your profile
