Your role:

Miltenyi Biotec is fully committed to the advancement of cellular therapies. The “CliniMACS Prodigy” is Miltenyi Biotec’s key biomedical platform for the manufacturing of cellular therapeutics. A team of more than 40 employees is working on its further development and the implementation of new applications – an endeavor which requires an orchestration of activities in many different departments, including R&D Engineering, R&D Reagents, Regulatory, Production, Marketing, Sales and intensive contact/ exchange with our (key) customers for a deep understanding of the market needs. A key to success is a truly perfect coordination of all activities. The Program Lead position was created to implement proven project management practices into these developmental activities. Reporting directly to the Management Board, the Project Lead will drive and coordinate all development activities around the device. This includes active relationship management within and between cross-functional teams. Project managers and team leaders responsible for individual subtasks will support the Program Lead in all relevant tasks.

Your profile:

  • Based on your University Degree in engineering, your M.D. or your PhD in Life Science, you got acquainted with medical devices in your so far career; a good understanding of cell therapy products would complete your profile, but isn’t mandatory
  • You bring a proven ability to manage projects to milestones and within timeline and budget, underlined by a project management certification (e.g. IPMA, PMI, Prince 2)
  • Being a strong communicator, you introduce plans and convince stakeholders on all organizational levels via written and oral presentations
  • You challenge the status quo by developing effective alternatives to accomplish project objectives
  • Motivating others with your “can-do”-attitude, even in critical project phases, you successfully manage change
  • Experiences of product development in a regulated environment are an advantage
